You’ve been asked to pre-drinks at your friends’ place and they told you to ‘bring beer.’ You don’t want to look cheap so you don’t by Bud. You are cheap so you buy Heineken, hoping that no one knows they cost the same price at the bodega across the road from your house. Be cool but not too cool. Like beer, but not too much. Be very moderate. Enjoy talking to your friends over drinks and dread going to the club later and having to yell over the music. Get really drunk. Enjoy going to the club later and jumping around on the dance floor like a frat boy after too many rounds of beer pong to music you enjoyed in high school but that isn’t old enough to be ironically cool yet. Don’t care because you like it, and you’re not that cool to begin with anyway.
