He was not home. He was everything I had run away from catching up to me. He was everything that I was afraid to face, but this time I didn’t run.

I’m not really sure what I was painting, I just know it felt right.

Confidence can easily be grouped with conceitedness and feelings of entitlement, but really, confidence and a person’s ego are two completely separate things.

When you’re hustling, sometimes it’s hard to stop and take a break for fear of wasting time, invalidating hours of hard work, or losing momentum, but the truth is that it is necessary to take a break in order to be able to perform to the best of your ability.

We are afraid of contradiction because it is unsettling to know that unpredictability is a reality. We are afraid of uncertainty.

I don’t care what they do, I don’t care what they want, I don’t care who they are. I do care why, though.

Growth is uncomfortable, it is not easy, but avoiding it is detrimental. If it hurts, it matters.
