I learned how to deal with, picky and angry clients, how to write about something I have zero prior knowledge of (hazardous waste is not exactly a popular topic) and I even sat in on planning sessions to watch an entire campaign play out.
A gym sits in the list places I don’t enjoy being at. They’re noisy, they’re smelly, and they’re filled with strangers that tend to stare.
Know when you need a break. Being creative can be tiring and you need to look away from your project so you can clear your head and recollect your thoughts.
When it comes to feelings, I usually know what I want. I’ve discovered that you can’t always place faith in other people to be the same way, but it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try anyway.
If you embrace the discomforts, mental and physical, you’re able to take in more and have a better time.
You have just as much right to say something when the time is right than anyone else in the room does.
