Remember the “rule of 3” from American Pie 2? Okay it’s just me then who remembers embarrassingly ridiculous things from teen sex movies. The deal was men multiply their number by three and women divide by three. They lie.

And why? Because society has convinced us that these numbers tell us something vital about each other: sluts and studs, prudes and duds, with very little room in between. The worst part about this judgment is that men and women start to internalize and believe that their numbers really do define them. They start to believe they are those whorey little skanks who don’t deserve love or those game-less, pristine-penised losers who don’t deserve a good romp in the hay.

By counting your number, you are creating your own sad little cage of sexuality, and not in the good kinky S&M way. For men and women, the number is a silly little tool of sexual oppression.
