15) In hindsight, you’ll always think you could have done something better.
I find myself always thinking I could have done something better in hindsight, even when I know that I have devoted 100% of my energy towards it. I guess this is the competitive personality I possess that makes me feel this way. Whether it is a sports performance, a test for class, or simply a particular interaction with another person, I always think I could have done something better to improve the outcome that was received. In the end, I have learned that this is an okay feeling to have as long as I make it a point to understand why I am feeling it: which is to continue to grow and improve from the current state I am in.
16) Time wasted can never be gotten back.
Our life is a ticking clock. Be careful how you spare the resource of time, because as each second passes, it can never be experienced again. I try to keep this thought on the forefront of my habitual daily reminders as it keeps me aware of the importance of each moment of each day.
